Terms of Service

By accessing or using Share the Day ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of them, you may not use the Service.

Share the Day is operated by Share the Day ("we", "us", "our"). The Service lets you create personalised event pages, manage RSVPs, and collect memories from guests as photos, videos, voice notes and messages.

• Personalised event and RSVP pages
• Custom QR code generation for printing and sharing
• Guest memory collection: photos, videos, voice notes, messages
• Event management and guest communication tools
• Digital memory preservation, download and sharing

Hosts need an account. Guests never do. If you register, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current and complete information
• Keep your account information up to date
• Keep your password confidential
• Accept responsibility for activity under your account
• Tell us immediately about any unauthorised access

The Service runs on a credit system:

• Credits are required to create memory links and use premium features
• Creating one memory link costs 70 credits
• Credits are bought through our payment provider
• Credits do not expire and stay in your account
• Credits cannot be transferred between accounts

Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase you also accept Stripe's terms.

You keep ownership of everything you and your guests upload. You grant us only the rights we need in order to store, process and show that content back to you. You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes someone else's rights
• Share content containing malware or malicious code
• Use the Service for spam or unauthorised commercial purposes
• Attempt to breach security or reverse engineer the Service
• Impersonate other people or provide false information

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. By using the Service you agree to the practices it describes.

The Service, and its original content, features and functionality, belong to Share the Day and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property law. Your uploads remain yours.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service. Where a change is significant and we can give reasonable notice, we will.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Share the Day is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Share the Day is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
